How to match latitude/longitude data grid on europe map ?

I need to prepare a presentation.
I have a data set of lat / long on excel graph.
(Like they are mapped on a equidistant grid)
I need to match them on spreadsheet with a map of europe.
What kind of map should I use ? (mercador , etc..)
